I study the link between health and sport especially in elite athletes. I am especially interested to the effect of training on airway function and physiology adaptations. I am studying the respective roles of exercise ventilation and specific environments (pollens, cold air, chlorine, pollution...) on the mechanisms leading to asthma/exercise-induced bronchoconstriction, inflammation and epithelial damage in health people practising endurance sports. I am currently focused on the measurement and impact of air pollutants on health and performance of endurance sport athletes.
