Areas of expertise
My research activities focus on posture and locomotion, with a special focus on the role of aging and movement disorders. In particular, I seek to understand how the control of these two functions, both in their neurophysiological and cognitive dimensions, is modified during normal and pathological aging (fallers, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases, motoric cognitive risk syndrome, hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome,...). My work also aims at the design and validation of new technologies (e-health) to help improve the early diagnosis and non-pharmacological treatment of movement disorders, as well as the development of innovative reconditioning programs to alleviate these disorders.
